Atari
unknown race, (Sith pureblood)

Jedi Knight

Atari was the former apprentice of Jedi Master Plo Koon. His story is rather sketchy and full of holes, especially concerning his life before Plo Koon discovered him in the slave labor factories of a Separatist mining base.
Atari was born and raised on the Sith world of Korriban. In truth, he is a Sith pureblood. Though he does not resemble Sith purebloods, he bears their blood and their ability, being one and a master of the Dark side of the Force. However, the small group of Sith were wiped out by Separatist forces, and Atari was one of the few who were taken and put to work as slaves. That is where Plo Koon discovered him, and finding him adept at the powers of the force, Plo Koon implored the Council to let them take him as an apprentice. The Council agreed. Atari was given his name (as he never told anyone what it really was). And then he trained in the ways of Jedi. But Atari was ambitious. Headstrong. And he relied on his emotions for strength rather than the absence of such. Master Plo wondered about this and often went to Masters Yoda and Windu for advice. They kept a close eye on Atari, worried that he was falling to the Dark side. Atari was already there, but he never gave them reason to believe such.
Atari was made a Jedi Knight rather early, at the age of eighteen. When the Clone Wars began, he was put in charge of a platoon of troopers, and he has been in charge of them pretty much ever since.
Atari, though strong in the Dark side of the force, has the ability and the strength to exert enough control over his own emotions that he will not let the Dark side consume him. The Jedi teachings have greatly helped him in achieving this. Through his training, he has learned to control his abilities rather than let his abilities control him. Though Atari insists he trusts his Master even with his own life, he has not confided the truth of his beginnings to anyone. Only for the reason, that if he even mentions the word Sith, they will think of the Dark Jedi who have desecrated that name, such as Count Dooku and Darth Sidious. And from that, they will perhaps be too hasty to judge him. So Atari merely waits until a more opportune time to tell his Master of who he really is.
Atari knows that one day, he will have to face his past. Korriban is still there, and he has a feeling that his former master, Lord Ereu, is still there as well.
Atari looks somewhat human, and therefore, can pass as nearly any sort of human-like species. It always confuses the medical facilities when they have to treat him for injuries and things as his blood type and composition differ from what they expect. To the eye, Atari is pretty average looking. He has light but ashy skin, black hair, and brilliant eyes that are a mix of red and gold, and oddly slitted pupils: one of the only signs he is not a straight human. Though he is a Sith pureblood, he has a defective mutation in his genes that takes away the red skin.

Oyacyir Nadir

Oyacyir (prononced: oy-yay-sheer), more often called Sheer by those he knows, is one of the more rarities of the Jedi Order: a full-blooded Mandalorian warrior. He and Kora Kannin fled Mandalore's moon, Concordia, because of increased Death Watch activity. Kora Kannin had already been a Jedi for years, and when they fled, he decided to take Oyacyir with him, hoping to give the boy a better life on Coruscant. It was not long after that when it was decided Oyacyir would train as a Jedi as well. A Twi-lek by name of Master Meera Bade was assigned as his mentor after he finished his training as a youngling. They fought together in the Great Clan Wars, and Oyacyir showed incredible strength of character and great acts of kindness, control, and mercy. At first, he was mocked by the Mandalorians, for they saw his mercy as weakness. But they soon thought differently when he proved his worth time and again on the battlefield. Near the end of the wars, when all seemed to finally be coming to a close, his master was slain. He and a Mandalorian troop held their ground against a terrible onslaught, roused to a rather strange cause when Oyacyir shouted down at his enemies: "I will never retreat! This is my home! My master died defending it! To take my home, you will have to take her too, and I will not let you scum desecrate either!" And so they held the enemy troop back and then wiped them out, never straying from Meera Bade's body. It was at the finale of the wars when Oyacyir was made a Jedi Knight, cheered on by the Mandalorians who fought with him in that battle.
